Level 3 Teach-to-Teach

Teach To Teach

The principal aim of the Level 3 Teach to Teach course is to develop a deep knowledge base for instructors who wish to run their own skate schools and train their own instructors. Emphasis is placed on training course participants in “teaching-to-teach” so that they are equipped to train new instructors.

There are also workshops on technical understanding and mechanics of inline skating, detection and correction, teaching methodology and other topics necessary to build a base for skate school owners and instructor trainers.

Level 1 and Level 2 skating skills are used in studying these in-depth aspects of instruction. The Level 3 course runs over 5 days and includes 4 hours of skating and 1.5 hours of classroom work per day.* The last day is comprised of “teach-to-teach” exams and a final skating skills exam. Any skill from Level 1 or Level 2 may be tested and a high level of performance is expected on each skill.
