Level 1 is for the instructor who wants to teach the fundamentals of inline skating: gliding, striding, stopping and turning on inline skates. Instructors will learn an internationally recognized format of teaching progressions and terminology.
The Online Program Includes:
14+ hours of livestream learning and evaluation (theory, virtual skating skills clinic, peer teaching, etc.) over 4 weeks.
10+ hours of self paced graded assignments to reinforce understanding of teaching methodolgy and practical application of materials over 4 weeks.

Requirements
All instructor candidates must begin with Level 1.Full Protective Gear (Helmet, Knee Pads, Elbow Pads, Wrist Guards) and Heel Brakeare compulsory and must be worn throughout program for in person and online programs.
Instructor candidates must exhibit intermediate skating skills including backward skating, forward to backward transitions and crossovers. A complete listing of required skills can be found below.
