Level 1 Online

Begins: April 6, 2024

Level 1 is for those who want to teach the fundamentals of inline skating: gliding, striding, stopping and turning. Instructors will learn an internationally recognized format of teaching progressions and terminology.  The online program consists of a series of weekend meetings,  assignments, video analysis of skating & teaching, and much more! A complete listing of the skating skill requirements can be found here.

Workshop: Problem Solving - Backwards & Transitions 

Livestream Session to be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 and will be recorded for future reference.

This session will explore backward skating indepth backward swizzles to backward crossovers and  transitions such as two foot transition, mohawks, and three turns and will include common problems encountered in teaching and in execution. Participants are encouraged to wear skates for real time feedback.

Level 2 Płock, Poland
May 17-19

ICP Level 2 Certification is for the experienced Level 1 instructor to further enhance class handling skills, problem-solving and intermediate skating skill development. Effective teaching methods will be highlighted and examples and ideas of ways to build a successful inline skating school will be discussed and explored throughout the weekend. This program builds upon the teaching methodology of Level 1 and  will have a blend of Livestream, Digital & In-Person learning.  A complete listing of the skating skill requirements can be found here.
